Anxiety is a weird creature. It doesn't listen to words or reasoning or logic. It doesn't listen to anything at all. Its own presence is proof enough for itself. You can say that it isn't a big deal, that you've done it before and there were no problems, but it will always beat you in words. And if it can't beat you in words, its own feeling is insurmountable. And unlike words, you can't snap your fingers and zap an emotion is there. Words are so much easier than feelings and sensations.
